From 1988 to Modern Wow

A select few condo-buildings in Winnipeg are in very high demand. New condo developments cannot compete with their quality of construction, services, suite sizes and locations. One enterprising contractor has been acquiring prime units to upscale and remarket. He sought our expertise to create a bespoke design for that niche market. To define the entry area, we carefully positioned an angled walk-in closet. Adding a custom built-in media unit stretched the width of the living room. A sliding digitally imaged glass door provided extra privacy for the master suite while doubling as a screen to hide the bar. A double door to the guest bedroom/ den opens up that room and extends the view. The kitchen was opened to the dining allowing light to stream in from floor-to-ceiling breakfast area windows. The new kitchen cabinets and marble-look counters wrap into the dining area, ending in a bar. Widened halls and doorways; and designer-grab-bars in the showers, allow for aging in place. The once-dated suite became bright and spacious; modern and luxurious.
