Seventies Two-Storey
A young couple ready to start a family purchased a home which was virtually untouched since its construction in 1973. To meet the needs of a modern family, the kitchen was enlarged, a mud room was added, and the finishes were upgraded throughout. The wood-spindle railing was replaced by glass and stainless steel. In the kitchen, pro-style stainless steel appliances are warmed by bamboo cabinets. An appliance center is concealed by sliding doors, and ample storage is provided by a full wall of cabinets that were stained a darker brown.
